very cute ratties! However, the bars look very gross. I recommend putting towels or fleece on the levels to make cleaning easier and to be softer on your ratties feet.

as long as the bottom of the cage is solid its not necessary, but the levels look rusted which isn't good for your ratties. So its just an suggestion.
